Neuhaus

Neuhaus is a solo loop project by Yves Neuhaus. Neuhaus indulges in the fascination of live loops and embraces constant repetition and overlapping. Neuhaus' fascination for the repetitive and the spherical is also noticeable on the first single release "Dizzly" of the debut album planned for early summer 2020. Starting with a single violin, which gently gropes into the piece, the track loop by loop spirals into dizzying heights, supported in by a driving beat. With violin, contrabass and drum machines Neuhaus layers and creates wide worlds of sound. He not only loops melodies of the violin and deep runs of the bass, but also uses various percussive-sounding possibilities of the two instruments. The musician complements this sound with natural live percussion and electronic drum beats.
